Chris Bangle is known for various BMWs. However these aren’t his only claim to fame. Here’s one he did earlier. A Fiat Coupé, from those distant days when Fiat had something other than endless variations of the 500 to offer. They did a 20V turbo five but this isn’t one.

By way of bonus, Smart Roadster dash showing flappy paddle thingies and that you can actually drive them in automatic mode despite what the internets tell you. Also, 17.5 deg. Summer’s over.

I thought they looked neat when they were new, especially with the square rims, the slanted wheel wells and the vivid colors that were available. I recall a firetruck red and a quasi-Ferrari yellow were quite common on these.
